One tip that the guys at the field always give is this STICK TO THE LOW WING. What I mean when I say this is that when a plane is coming towards you, the use of your ailerons is reversed and this gets confusing, but if you always remember to push the aileron stick towards the side of the low wing, you will level out your plane.
